To get the Apps on to your new machine you will have to uninstall from your Laptop - making sure that you are connected to the web - and then install everything on the new system. If you set the default and custom paths correctly on your new system during install then you could copy all your existing assets from your other system over without having to go through dozens of downloads and installs. I would have thought this was the case, but I don't see anything official anywhere (and, yes, I found that three year old thread on 6). I'm not worried about assets - I have them all backed up to a portable drive anyway (that's how I moved them all over to the laptop) and I can easily move them over. However, the Faceware license will be problematic (I'll most likely have to contact them - when I first installed it I needed to go through some hoops for it to work properly). Sigh - oh well, I know what I'll be doing the rest of this month (new machine arrives around the middle of the month). Yeah, I think it's quite regular to have situations, because of lifestyle/living situation, that one single user would need to have more than one workable system for the same project, but on an ongoing basis in a non-simultaneous, alternating fashion. (Ie - using a desktop and then using a laptop when traveling, etc.) I am 100% positive that " You can install on two, but use only one at any given time" is the correct answer.
